DisAbilityMaternityCare has been established to provide women with a disability, their partners and family, information and resources to support and assist them to become parents. It is established on the premise that all people with a disability have the right to establish relationships, have consensual sex, and become parents should they so choose.
This website also provides information about us, our training and resources for health and other service providers so they may provide person-centred and culturally safe care, that meets these parents needs.
The orange colour for the website logo has been chosen to reflect the values associated with Harmony Day, which celebrates the diversity of peoples.

Promote the concept of inclusion and the rights of women with disability and partners to have a family;
Promote awareness and knowledge of the needs of women with a disability as they journey through pregnancy, birth and early motherhood.
Provide up-to-date information, training and links to resources to enable health and service providers meet the need of these women;
