The first webinar event session in a series on motherhood and intellectual disability will be held on January 29th 1-2pm (AEDT) 2021.
‘Stories of motherhood: becoming mothers with an intellectual disability’ recounts the stories of four women with an intellectual disability as they become mothers. In particular, their interactions with health and service providers during their pregnancy to parenthood journey. This Webinar is a must for midwives and other health professionals wanting to understand how to improve pregnancy, birth and early parenting experiences for this group of maternity consumers.
